Randy Foye

President of Friends of Nova and former Villanova / NBA Guard

Randy Foye, a legendary Villanova basketball player in the early 2000s, serves as the president of VU's NIL maximization partner Friends of Nova. In this role, he will mentor student-athletes in addition to educating and informing alumni on the positive community and event driven opportunities Friends of Nova will offer.

Foye graduated from Villanova University with a degree in geography while playing basketball for the Wildcats from 2002-06. In his senior year, he helped carry the Wildcats to their best record in a decade with the program's first BIG EAST regular season title since ‘97. After leading the 'Cats to the first NCAA #1 seed in program history, he was named BIG EAST Player of the Year and a consensus All-American. Randy was selected seventh overall in the 2006 NBA draft and went on to enjoy an 11-year career in the National Basketball Association.

Randy has seen firsthand the difficulties for kids growing up in a tough, urban environment, prompting him to establish the Randy Foye Foundation which develops programs and projects aimed directly at improving the lives of children in his home town of Newark, NJ.
